Maths paper 1 (ordinary)

Youngfella came out and said that it was a bit more tricky than previous years. Teacher admitted it to. Anyone out there comment on how it compared to previous years? He was well prepared going in so I'm just a bit concerned.

Hmmm odd. I most of friends told me the Ordinary was easiest they have done yet, But it depends on how they were taught. Personally the Higher level paper was tricky with questions 3-4 being really mind blowing

I dropped to ordinary level after I failed HL in the mock. Ordinary paper 1 was fine and I was glad I dropped when I saw the Higher paper.

ya i felt maths was awful. I was really prepared for paper 1 and i was counting on paper 1 to get a good result. I got a B in the pre and i was hoping to get an A but that hope is gone now. A question (6c) had nvr cam up b4 on any other paper came up?? it was easy but its a bit surprising on the day. and a question on distance also came up which i though was on paper 2? maybe im confused. but anyway i dont think i did too well.



Someone was saying there about some1 hu wnt in prepaped and felt it was a dogy paper. I felt the same way aswell!!

Paper 1 was a joke,answered every question.
There was a new question at the end but it was really straightforward.

We had never done any of those factors with our teacher :mad: i no they were like REALLY easy but I couldn't do the one where it was something like

This what I did anyway and nearly everyone else in my class did the same

At the grid at the top you should hav added 1 along the whole way

then draw the line on the graph and it was a straight line.
Then where the 2 lines met was at (1,2) or (2,1) or something like that

I think that is right!

yay! thats 50 marks gurranteed in Q6.

Just to make sure the other graph was n shaped..

That simultanious Equation was soo annoying I had to do it 3 times before I got a normal looking anwser and I think it is still wrong.

I got 1, -2 or somthing like that.
