    Guys,
Someone suggested I used Red Deal for our deck but I am lost as to what this is and whether it is a hard wearing wood. Is it a glorified pine?

Is there a pic of it on this site?

    Thanks

Red deal usually comes from the red pine tree (Pinus resinosa)

We have it in our house and it dents easy.

If I was planning on decking i'd pick a harder wood.

So ye would not recommend this as a good timber for decking?
