You know the way when you're banned from a sub forum, you can't see it anymore(it disappears) Are you allowed go around to the different sub forums you know you'll never go into(Chuck Norris, Frisbee) and asked to be banned from them. So then it'll clean the place up a bit for yourself.

Ok at the mo i'm banned from feedback, so for me feedback doesn't show up in the list of "Sys" sub forums. So say i know i'll never wanna go into the Chuck Norris sub forum, can i ask to be banned from it so it doesn't show up?

OK, boards has waaaaaaaaaaay to many sub forums.

I'm only interested in about 20% of them.

If you are banned from a sub forum, it disappears and you can't see.

So if i request to be banned from all the sub forums i'm not interested in, it will make looking at http://boards.ie/vbulletin/index.php much more pleasant for me cos i won't see all the sub forums i'm not interested in

Aye, off with ya, I can't make head nor tail of ya. I think Dev said there are around 1000 forums, you're going to go round and ask to be banned so you don't have to look at them?????

Yes, its like Sky Digital, you know theres about 50% of the channels you'll never watch so you should be able to remove them from the list of channels so you'll find the stuff you do want to watch more easily

I'm not too sure but I reckon the mods/admins have better things to be doing with their time than banning you from every sub forum you know you're never going to use just so it doesn't show up in the forums list for you.

How about you just subscribe to the forums you know you will use like everybody else does?

Each forum has in the bar across the top a drop down which says forum tools,
click on it in the forums you want to subscribe to and choose that option.

Why? Its a simple thing, a lot of them get pleasure out of banning people anyways

Once subscribed you can use the menu at the top of the page to jump directly to your subscribed forums or you can see the latest posts in them in your control panel.

No it is not it is a pain in the tits tbh and while you could go on a get a ban spree the chances are after you were banned from 10 or more of the forums you don't like you will be branded a tard and just site banned.

Oh and getting banned from the chuck norris forum is harder then it looks,
I tried it a while back and despite poasting pi in all the threads was still not banned.

And that was pi correct to about 10,000 digits as well.

Firefox seems to have issues on those drop down menus by the way... I can't use it either... I'm not sure if there is another work around, so you may have to log into boards.ie with a different browser and then subscribe to the forums you want.

Re: the OP.
Subscribe to the forums you want to view (the option is under the forum tools as explained above). These forums will then form a new list under the Subbed dropdown and you wont have to look at subfora you dont want to read again.
