Points on Licence re jobs?

    All of those jobs that require a full, clean drivers licence - what happens if you have a couple of points? Can you just not apply for them?

    Nothing to stop you wasting a stamp and a few sheets of paper. Why the question?

    Full, clean driver's licence, usually means a licence that's not carrying endorsements - i.e. they don't want someone with a conviction for a traffic offence. This is because their insurance company won't cover them. There is no insurance company that won't cover someone with points.

    Strictly speaking, penalty points are not a conviction, so your licence is still "clean" with 11 points.

    As BostonB says, there's no harm applying for it. If they query the points, you can just say what I said above.
