I know I might not get any help here but here goes. Basically my gums have been bleeding badly for last week and it feels and looks like they are eroding. I think I may have some sort of gum infection. I've starting using corsodyl or something like that. Anyone have any ideas on what would cause gums to erode? Making appointment with dentist but could be waiting a week for it, and its severally sore and annoying

Bleeding gums are nearly always a sign of gum disease. However, you should use a soft toothbrush and I would say not to overdo it with the mouthwash. Try using warm water and small pinch of salt. Also use Sensodyne. A good remedy I have found also is Vitamin C. I have personally found that as I suffer from Sinus and allergies this time of year, I also get something similar. I was at my dentist recently and have to have some work done, but nothing major!!!
