Folks, sorry to bother you with this.

Connected a replacement digibox last night and watched it through the scart.
Perfect. Just remembered this morning that I need to tune it into a channel as well to be able to record etc...
As usual there is tweaking to be done and its three or four years since I last did it. When I searched on my tv it finds the box but the picture needs fine tuning, ie digibox rf channel needs changing. I can get into the RF Outlet menu, by hitting 4,0,1 select but when I change the RF channel number and try and save it just goes out of the menu. I remember this happening the last time so I,m missing some important part of the procedure! anyone out there explain in laymans terms what I need to do. Many thanks!

Yeah, you do to be watching it via the scart while changing the rf channel.

then you just pick a rf frequency on digibox not close to any other channel and search until the tv channel picks it up then??
