Not sure how many ppl here follow e-sports. Starcraft IMO always has been and will be the best game for 'professional' play due to the depth and balance. Anyway.. check out some of these videos of pro koreans playing starcraft with English commentary.

It's insane how deeply these players think about their game.

I've watched all his commentary's, great stuff, have him subscribed and bookmarked, looking forward to more matchs, he usually posts 1 or 2 a day, so its a good way to spend half an hour or so each day.

Being a protoss player its nice to see Bisu in the finals of the MSL, even though he did go through on Monty Hall vs a Zerg.

I think Starcraft is a national sport for the fúcking Koreans:eek::D

Actually teh Syco isnt lying  .... its shown daily on TV and has its own channel and a HUGE fanbase over there

Thats why there is a lot of thought being put into Starcraft 2..so as not to alienate the jap gamers by making it all flashy, its being made with the fact that it will be "watched on TV" in mind, as well as making succesor to SC2  in every sense.

A few of us that went to WCG last year got talking to an australian that played in Division 2/3 of the pro leagues in Korea and said even he was making decent enough money. He said that there were Starcraft groupies and everything

Yeah they have channels for starcraft and warcraft. I used to look at warcraft replays for hours on end, they are class.

I still follow the Korean's, some great english speaking commentators about now, DiggitySC and KlazartSC are the best, but Moletrap has some good ones too.

(way to ressurect a dead thread though)

When I moved house 6months ago I lost my CD cases, so no more CDkey after I formatted :( Should really buy the game again some day, great multi player game, had over 100 games up in it.
