Festival-end of August-Dublin

Now, I will start this off by saying that I dont know the name of it, I dont know any exact location of where it will be, whether it'll be a multi-day thing or whatever.

Anyway, was talking to some high up people in a band last night(singer and manager), asked were they coming back soon, then the singer said end of August for a festival in Dublin. Manager backed this up. Anyone heard anything about a possible upcoming thing like so in Dublin? Could be twinning with Reading/Leeds festival now, no idea.

something else to think about ie. bands, locations, whatever.

Chances they're talkin about Electric Picnic and just said Dublin cos it's the default irish city?

Reading Ireland is a one day festival thing, well it started with Metallica in the RDS in '03 and I dunno where it's gone since. It could help if you check their website (if they have gig listings).

Well, this band are from Norn Iron, so they ahould know the difference between Laois and Dublin in all honesty. Plus, dont think this band would really fit in with the general atmosphere of EP, thats why I'd doubt it. Plus when I asked has it being announced, singer said no, although he could have interpreted it as me asking has their slot being announced.

Reading came back with Iron Maiden/Marilyn Manson aswell, in '05, but not last year.

EDIT:Elites, it was a banned gig, so eh, shhhh:D

Ok, I've just realised this band are playing at Reading/Leeds, so there is a chance a one day thing of that comes over. If so, the headliners will be either RHCP or Razorlight, as the singer said Smashing Pumpkins arent headlining:(
