    Whats the story with fair city? I watched it last week on thursday and sunday and its all about yer man james dying and paul and yer one trying not to have an affair. Who the hell are the two guys living on the boat? Where is everbody else? Whats goin on???

    James terminally ill
    Confronts Paul and asks him to leave Fiona alone until he dies
    James gets Ray to video him,forgiving Fiona for her infidelity
    James then discovers Fiona has been helping herself to €4million of his money
    James devastated
    He contacts his solicitor to change his will
    Fiona cops on to this and smothers poor James
    Weird looking guy on boat is technically married to Fiona-
    They married in London or somewhere, years ago, never bothered to get divorced.
    Fiona has been giving him money and James's 1st wife's jewellery to keep him quiet.
    He sold a brooch to Charlie who sold it to Ray
    Angela unknowingly wore the brooch to James's funeral
    Brooch recognized by James's daughter
    James's kids becoming more suspicious about Fiona
    Other bloke (nasty)on the boat now sees great blackmailing opportunities opening up for him.
    Think thats it !

    This storyline is getting silly at this stage. It seems like it's going round in circles. 2 weeks of the same story and characters is getting boring.
    BTW, has anyone noticed how heavily pregnant the actress who plays Fiona is? They're not even trying to hide it! You could guess then that her character will defintely be written out.

    But don't storylines in all/most soaps get dragged out, 2 weeks is nothing compared to some in the British soaps.

    Yeah, but it's 2 weeks of it constantly with no other storylines or characters appearing. Thats a bit much isn't it
