Setanta with UK FTV Card

I bought an FTV Card on ebay last year. I use a digibox with this card to pick up the usual Ch4, Ch5, Sky 3 etc. Just wondering if it is possible to suscribe to Setanta using the serial number on the card, or would they just ask for the registered owner of the card?

I think your first problem is a UK card and an Irish address and bank details. I'm sure you are aware that for example Formula 1, Saturday 3pm Premiership games are blocked to UK subs and other transmissons. Setanta will know what country the card should be in as will most people here.

First, I suppose we better read Setanta's T&C's and see do you need a Sky sub.

I think 12.g. might rule me out...

I wonder if it is possible to subscribe to setanta with an inactive Irish card?

A friend of mine subscribed directly to Setanta.
He has Sky box but no subscrbtion to Sky.
He rang them up and they sent him out a card , €17 a month.
He was to ring them and activate the card, not sure if he did it yet.
