From rte.ie. He will be missed. :(
Tim Lovejoy has quit TV show Soccer AM after 10 years, it was announced today.

The move will bring to an end his long-running partnership with co-host Helen Chamberlain.

The Sky Sports show is a Saturday morning staple for football fans.

Lovejoy, 39, is believed to be developing a new celebrity show with Simon Fuller's 19 TV.

A Sky Sports spokesman said: "We can confirm that Tim Lovejoy has left Sky Sports.
"Tim notified us that he'd like a change of direction in his career and it is a decision that we understand.

"He leaves with our very best wishes for the future and we would like to thank him for his hard work throughout his time with Sky Sports."

Chamberlain will continue to present Soccer AM and a new co-host will be announced soon.

Lovejoy currently hosts BBC2 magazine show Something For The Weekend.

He has also co-presented Five's motoring show Fifth Gear and interviewed David Beckham for an ITV documentary last year.

Time for a change I think. Leave Helen there, but they need to do a big overhaul of the running gags. I'll be sad to see Tim go, but I think it's time.

Missed? I'd miss a tumour more than that smug self-obsessed clown.

Nice one. I might start watching more than just the last hour now. God I hated that prick. The All-Sports show's a good bit better imo too, so I'd presume Andy Goldstein'll take over.

I always thought he was alright tbh. It seemed like he didn't take himself serious but I know someone will disagree with me on that.:)

I can see the show going downhill from here as well if it doesn't get a makeover.
