There was an Lenova for about E800 notes with 3 yr warenty on dabs but its disappeared, was thinking of a Dell Xps M1210 12.1" 1.98 Kg

Anyone got any deals they know of?

How about the hp tx1020 its a little 12.1" tablet/covertable, have had my eye on this for the past few months but cant justify it just yet.
Its 1499 RRP but prob cheaper in shops or online, I think it was on currys website ;899.
    Check the spec @ www.Hp.com/ie > home > notebook > pavilion > tx1000

hey WezzyB whats the tory with the warranty from that guy is it applicable over here. Also as he is a reseller i presume the warranty started when Dell sold him the computer so strictly speaking you prob looking @ an 11 month warranty

    think thats directed at me...

warranty is transferred over to your name, but as you guess starts from date of purchase by ebay guy.
mine had 15 days warranty missing, ask him before you buy.
dell quoted me something like 250eu to extend the warranty for 2 more years

I bought an m1210 from the same guy subway did about 5 months ago and havent had a day of trouble with it. Got a fairly high spec one too which I saved about €1000 on compared to the dell website!

I have the graphics card in mine and I'm pretty certain it is 64mb dedicated memory and the rest is shared.

Tis a very nice deal indeed. I find mine very portable. I bought it because I wanted something that would be easy to carry in and out of college and work on my bike and it is! It look great too!

I got an m1210 from the outlet too for about 1K inc delivery and VAT.

    2gig ram
    2ghz cpu
    9 cell battery

    Can`t complain!

I've an M1210 with the Geforce 7400 graphics - it plays the likes of Half Life 2, Doom 3 very nicely. Newer games tend to tax it a bit though. 800 notes is an absolute steal for one btw.
