Time the questions correctly.......I think it says how long to spend on each question at the front of the English papers (30 mins for every question on paper 1 barre the essay [1 hour] and 45 mins or so for each question on paper 2)

Learn quotes and read summaries of the novel/drama. Know the layout of the letters and google reviews of books/film/cd so it'll be fresh in your mind.

Oh! This is what I did for english and I still got my A. If you run out of time (as I inevitably knew I would for paper 2) write down your answers in bullet points. Keep 'em fairly structured and intelligible and back 'em up with quotes still. An examiner, if he/she can see the point you're making and it's relevance and if it's put across fairly intelligibly even by bullet points than there's no reason for he/she to deduct marks. You need to show him/her what you know, if you don't write it down you won't get points for it.

Just keep learning working etc. to the best of your ability and don't give up; just one piece of information remembered in the last minute can bring you up by a whole grade.

You can't really do much study for paper 1 except for the layour of letter and review. For paper 2, the only thing you can do is learn your set texts.

As for comprehensions, read the question and do exactly wha it says and write your answers in the following structure:

    Statement
    Reference (Quote)
Comment on the relevence of the quote to the statement.

Well goodl luck everyone, It will be the same as the mocks so don't be wooried, they weren't too bad!

I agree with the timing thing, try to be strict with it. If you find you have time to spare at the end of the exam you can then go back and pick up any extra makrs by finishing/expanding questions.
