8i know, its woeful, it really is, i'm nearly ashamed posting but thought that some of you might get a few ideas from it. I've been waiting to take a "proper" one but the weathers been bad, ok the photo, its a cow, big deal, its blurry etc. if you look though at the bottom 1/3 of the photo you'll notice little "pixies" (to me they are:P ).
They're basically midges, the lighting was evening time coming through a hedge and caught the midges, and as I has a slow shutter speed that's why you see the "trails", you get the idea, just thought it was interesting.
I will assume 0 replies that it was just crap and not a bit interesting :D

    It's much more obvious on http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=527472158&size=l 298kb

Is there a face we're supposed to see too?
I like the idea alright, there's definately something in it.
    And absolutely worth posting.

With a tripod, and a cow standing relatively still, you could have something brilliant.

theres no "face" or anything, its just about the midges can create some nice patterns with a low shutter speed, the cow is really irrelevant, shoulda cropped it to make it a bit more obvious :)

I do have a tripod as well but I have a strange thing with animals, if they look at me I take there picture even if its just a p&s job, this was one of those case's, I didn't realise the midges were visible until I uploaded to the pc.

Saw some buzzing in the sunlight out the back a few evenings ago, thought they'd make a cool long-exp shot. Didn't bother though :(
