Honestly, people go missing all the time. It's sad and all, but why all this fuss about Madeline?

To be honest, it's because of a well run and very smooth publicity machine.

Children do go missing all the time and every one of those children is special, Madeline is no more special than any other but I bet if you had a child that went missing you would hope and pray that you had as good a publicity team as Madelines parents.

Missing Madeleine is representative of all missing children, in my view. Any positive changes that we can bring about in the constant scenario of children disappearing worldwide can only be beneficial to all. You are right when you say that Madeleine's parents have put together a machine to fight this, but why should that be bad? Maybe the disappearance of Madeleine is the 'straw that broke the camel's back'. A laid-back attitude to any child going missing, including Madeleine, is a defeat. Those with that attitude would feel pretty differently if it were their own child, believe me. I hope that doesn't happen to you, ever, but because it has to others, it can to you too. Don't you get sick of this defeatist world, where evil is accepted because 'we can do nothing' ?
