How about a James Bond night? (looks down to sig!) I have all the theme tunes, and an excellent little gadget called a 00DJ! The James Bond of DJing! You could get all your guests to dress as different chracters from the films.

James Bond ate cocktail sausages. It's in one of the edited out scenes in Goldfinger.

Drinking games can be based around the films - i.e. get people in a circle going around having to say a character, and if they fumble they booze up. Or just use normal drinking games!

Why not write various characters from the films, (check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond for the full list!) on post it notes and stick them out of the persons view, (forehaed/back etc). Then the person has to guess who they are by asking others questions. They can only reply yes or no. So they can ask am I a villain? etc. Did you check out my website BTW? could do you a very good price!

As regards to food, martinis are the obvious choice, but you could make pretty much any drink really. According to one site James Bond claims to 'Prefer the ordinary plain food of the country' He does like Vodka & Tonic or champange, you could replace that with sparkling wine from Tesco!

In Live and Let Die, he eats little neck clams and fried chicken maryland. Obviously little neck clams are out, but you could get some southern fried chicken pieces from tesco again. Also he likes Tagliatelle Verdi when in italy, but of course this can't really be served cold - goes bit rubbery! HTH & ebjoy your party!

You could do it like the ice hotel, lots of shiny paper, and cellophane. Or check out the link I gave for the list of bond information. Might jog your memory for the themes of the films. Alternatively as the last film was called Casino Royale, (where I got the idea for my disco company!) you could decorate like a casino. Chips, fake money, coins, cheap n tatty jewelery etc?

Fair point C-13, just trying to compete with the Irish DJs. Us English still are avoided a bit when needed to do something the Irish can do. I actually do have a fair few Irish songs, and in fact my roots originate in Ireland. Although I was adopted at the age of 6 weeks & was born in Essex, (a posh part BTW!) my birth mother was from Galway! Anyway I will back off now and just expect a bit of cake from Chula! LOL
