I love Picross in general (Mario Picross 2 in particular is exquisite), and Picross DS is Picross. But most of its puzzles are larger than the screen, which means you can only see a portion of the grid as you fill it in. It's cumbersome and a hugely uncomfortable way to play Picross. Shame, because otherwise Picross DS is a great package. Daily Picross, the puzzle creator and multiplayer are all very lovely. But, nnnngh. That scrolling. Illust Logic doesn't have it, you know.

I've been using the button controls anyway, but the tiny zoomed-out numbers hurt my crippled eyes. Maybe it's me that's broken and not the game. ;)

Nope, I love it too, I've been totally addicted since I bought it. The scrolling is awkward so I find it much better to use the button controls even if it makes the grid tiny.

Daily Picross is good fun and I've found myself going back to earlier levels to try to get better times.
