Irish Drum Academy - Dead or Alive??

Hi

Im wondering does anyone know if the Irish Drum Academy in Temple Bar is still in operation?

I got a few lessons there back in 2002. I remember seeing that they used to do full time courses there.

I am interested in doing one of these courses next year when i get back from travelling but i cant find their site anymore on the net.

when i go to the old site www.irishdrumacademy.com it just goes to some advertisment thing.

Does anyone know what the story is? Is it closed? If not is there a website and/or email address?

They used to be on crow st in temple bar

Im looking to do a full time drum course for a few months in Ireland. Dunno if there is one anymore.

I'm in the same boat as you man, was doing lessons there last year and then all of a sudden, mid-course, they stopped. No warning, no refund of fees paid and no contact since despite numerous attempts.

Kinda leaves me wondering did they swindle me out of a kidney and then skip town.

the irish drum academy has a new website www.irishdrumacademy.org
both directors have been busy touring and the school is being changed from a limited company to a registered business.there is a contact there if anyone is interested in lessons or feels that they are owed lessons they are welcome to discuss this.
