Does anyone know if the Dublin - Dubai Aer Lingus flight have ac adapter for laptops in all the seats or just business. Plus can anyone recommend a place to crash on the way back as I have to spend 12 hours in Dubai to get my connecting flight. Just looked at the hotel in the airport and they want 60 dollars PER HOUR for a double room.

I don't believe they have power in economy..

The Ibis Hotel in Dubai's World Trade Centre is one of the cheaper hotels, basic but clean. You could also try the Novotel which is right beside it (more expensive though). Do NOT GO NEAR the Princess Hotel (it's a Pakastani-run brothel, was sent there by the ever so helpful airport staff when Aer Lingus was delayed by 15 hours.......NOT one of my best memories, lucky I didn't come home in a body bag quite frankly.......

thanks , can you still leave the airport even if your on connecting flights? do you fill in the visa on the plane or what? no its for 2 people 1 person is 41 dollars an hour!!

IBIS looks very good value, did you stay there , was it far from the airport . How did you get there taxi or airport shuttle? Novetel has a pool which would be nice as I only wanna crash there for 12 hours.

Yeah Dalri seem to get a kicking in the reviews for brothel type clubs, reason i stayed away from the holiday inn.

    Thanks for all the info.
