Right I will need a phone when I got to Canada for the summer,
I will also be in California for the last three week's so it would be great if it was possible to get a phoen that worked in both places.

Can anyone give me any advice on what sort of package to go for,
They certainly don't seem so cheap over there, I would be willing ot buy a phone and not just a sim card as i can't find any offers for a canadian sim
Most phones also charge for incoming calls, is tehre any way to avoid this?
I use 13434 at home so my parents could ring my numebr for free, so it would eb excellent if i did not have to pay either.

i was in the states for a year and i bought a "pay as you go" it wasnt really that expensive for domestic calls although once you travel outside the state you bought it in- its slighty more- but i found it to be fine calling ireland on it- most certainly didnt break the bank!
