Hi guys just need some help.
My father is opening another Delivery service in 2-3 weeks in Sandyford,Dublin. WWW.LETSEATIN.IE ,
He is looking to purchase (or if its free) a database of business in that area where he can try and promote the business for outside catering and business meetings.I have found this site http://www.kompass.ie/ but dont know how they are to deal with and are they the cheapest around.

Hope someone here can help me as i need to buy a database soon.Mainly looking for a email or address one.

    Thanks in advance

I'm not trying to be cheeky here, but the Golden Pages might be a fairly good option to go with. It'll give you the relevant contact information and the nature of the business. There's no need to pay for information that's available free;) Unless you need more in depth analysis of the businesses

I understand but it would take a year to find all the sandyford contacts and wont be upto date as sandyford is devolping like mad :)

So i would rather get a upto date list from somewhere

Kompass should be ok to deal with. They were bought over by An Post a number of years ago. One of the guys that owned the company is now involved with Marlborough International Property - http://www.marlborough.ie/

This is all I can find on Bizplus -http://www.bizplus.ie/upload/documents/surveys/0806_Direct_Marketing.pdf

great concept! kompass is the way to go, it's free for a month and you can trial exporting (max 50 contacts) to mail merge etc.

You mention you'd like an email one, I'd steer clear of spamming local businesses, you'll be added to their spam list and then when you make genuine contact and try email them, the email will never arrive.

Get kompass and import them into ACT! crm, great for mail merges and recording sales leads, plus itll be there forever so when your dad opens in another location you can pay for the kompass license (per x amount o contact) for that area and repeat the process!
