Slimline PS2 power adaptor for a car

    I just got a slimline PS2 and the difference apart from the obvious over the old one is that the power input into the console is 8V as opposed to 230VAC. Makes me think is it possible to use the slimline one in a car on the DVD player screens.

    Is there an adaptor available to convert the 12VDC on the car for the PS2?
