11 players left, only top 3 paid, we're playing 6 handed. blinds are 150-300 (i think, might be 200-400, but think they're 150-300)

    Seat 1: utg: folds...
Seat 2: me... playing about 13k.
Seat 3: aggressive enough player, can go deep in tourneys with a stakc but can bust on ten high too. playing about 7k.
Seat 4: paul... sees the flop but gets out
Seat 5: sb, christine of JP poker fame, sees the flop but gets out.
Seat 6: bb. reasonably tight player, but has recently start to mix up their game a bit following much abuse regarding how tight they play. playing about 7.5k

So utg folds and i have 5c6s and limp in. i've been fairly passive preflop but have gotten aggressive on the flop.
    Seat 3 limps in aswell.
    seat 4 limps in
    seat 5 completes
    seat 6 checks.

    flop:
6c8c9c - bottom pair with gut shot straight flush draw. i figure i'm pretty weak at this point. everyone checks and we see a free turn.

    turn:
6c8c9c 6d - so now i have three of a kind with my draw.. checked to me, and i check again with the intention of keeping the pot small enough cos despite liking my hand, its not fantastic. seat 3 leads for 1k into the 1500 pot... seats 4 and 5 fold, seat 6 (bb) makes it 3k action to me... and i!?!?!?!

    my options:
    1. fold - any straight any flush beats me, alot of 6's beat me too.
    2. call - i could call and hope the river goes check check with just seat 6, but im not a fan of this.
    3. push - put the otehrs to a decision, if i get called i'll still have outs and if i lose i still have 20bb's or more.

SO....?! who does what and why!?

Shove, you wont make it into the top 3 by laying hands like this down.

I would of bet the turn aswell.

    ugh.

    fold or raise pf.

id probably fold givin description of players, so many hands beat you.

also how many runners did this get? might hit it next week

You can probably rule out a straight. If he has a flush he played it pretty weird. A six is the most likely the way it played out, so chances are you're outkicked. It's a pretty crazy move to be doing with air, esp from a tight player. He's not folding if you push, and you could well be drawing to 4 or 5 outs.

    I'd lean towards a fold.

She is pretty rock like, but she is getting short and a move needs to be made.

Also, I think the stacks are wrong. Seat 3 probably had about 5k

You dont have much invested in the hand Jeff,
Worst case your drawing to only one card, the the magic 7
Best case for you here is what? Against 2 pair, and the nut flush and you've to avoid 14 or so cards, and thats wishful thinking, a realistic best case is flush draw and playing for a split.

i think you should've raised this preflop and the bet the flop, it's a good flop for your hand. limping oop with 56s is a kind of weak. i guess you have a big stack and want to see cheap flops but i think it's a bad idea, the whole dynamics of this hand change if you just raise preflop. as played i looks as though seat 6 flopped the A high flush, that's what makes most sense to me if you say she's ultra tight. a reluctant fold.

some of what i was thinking:
seat 3 has bet 1k into a 1500 pot, i think he could be doing this with alot of hands, could even be a steal and will fold to sam's bet in seat 6.
If sam has a flush i think she can fold to a big raise.
Given that I have 1 six, i know that 1 of them doesnt have a six. I started spewing speach play and it became very obvious that Sam has a six, now i'm thinking about folding, but i think if i push, she HAS to fold her 6, and if seat 3 has air, i'm good,if he has a flush or straight draw im good, if he has the maid flush or straight i have SOME outs and he still has to call after a reraise and a rereraise...

    results to follow...

If she had a six there was no way she was folding. She has half her stack invested. Getting probably 5 to 1 on her chips. She is putting you on a made flush or straight and figures for 10 outs. The way it played out she had to call. The guy in seat 6 was priced in with alot of hands as he was shortest.

if you honestly thought this then fold. as it removes most of your outs against seat 3. and best best you can hope for is a split pot barr the straight flush making it

I know Sam is a rock but if she has a 6 she is never folding especially against you!

its not the limping that i have an issue with in this pot. I know why and when limping can be good or bad. the way i was playing yesterday i was seeing alot of flops and playing the flops rather than strictly preflop stuff.

Guy in seat 3 had 3c7c and sam had Q6, no club.
