    Quite an impressive flick.. watched it without much of a expectation and it has actually a lot going for it.

    King of bland Luke Wilson and queen of black leather Kate Beckinsale both flex their acting muscles... not enough to break them off mind. Satisfactory performances - nothing else!

    Couple of jumpy moments bundled with a few eerie moments and just a tad too many "there's no way he could have survived that.... oh, he's getting up again.. ain't he a persistant motherfu*ker?"

    Anyways... worth a look.

    This, along with 'The Ex' were two of the more impressive films i've seen recently. Neither taxing on the brain - just two enjoyable films among a sea of bland this year.

    Saw the Vacancy last night.
    I enjoyed it alot.
    A thriller that was edgy and had a good bit of suspense unlike the juvenile in your face teen slasher movies.
    Its short ~80 mins but it flys along .
