Looking for a smallish(around 17/19") flat screen TV with a built in DVD player for a bedroom. Anyone aware of any good deals?

Lads, anything in the 26/27" or higher with a built in DVD. They seem to be thin on the ground.

I bought a 15" GRUNDIG LCD TV in TESCO last week for 299.99 that includes a DVD player.

So far, so good.

There are a few about, like Nordmende, Grundig, etc. most of which out of the same Turkish factory.

Don't see any "brand-name" DVD/LCD combi's about.

dunnes were doing a 21" combi there a while back for in and around 450, possibly a bush model or some lesser known brand

At 6,000 Sterling, the B&O would want to be a damn good TV! Which, seemingly, it isn't. It's not without its flaws. Another case of style over substance I guess.

I bought a 19 inch DVD/LCD combi in Aldi about 2 months ago for EUR250. Very happy so far.
They had an identical looking one in Dunnes about two weeks ago for the same price....
