    hi all,

just thinking about all the times i have sat in the cinema after the end credits started to roll and all the times little extra bits started to appear as they were rolling (and me trying to see them as people who were leaving decide to stop and stand up right in front of me to watch them too !!!)

one of my personal favs would have to be from monsters INC, not just because it had the normal pixar out-takes but for that inspired musical bit at the end - now that is a real extension to the movie.

just wondering what other favs there are - either music (the end of se7en and fight club got me there) or extra filmed bits.

I loved the end of Scary Movie, for the music and the scenes. I am not a big raqp fan, but I felt it suited the end nicely.

I also agree with the Se7en music being great

Thought the end credits of Snyder's remake of "Dawn of the Dead" were great as they show
the gang utterly failing after their dramatic escape
    .

Favourite 2 would have to be...

The end credits artwork for Return of the King.

And all the cast signing off at the credits for Start Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country :)

The end credits for Apocalypse Now.
The Devils Advocate, when Paint it Black starts playing. The film wasn't brilliant, but it was good and I love Pacino as well as The Rolling Stones. Great ending too.

Other than the music for Se7en I love how the first thing that comes up is
Starring Kevin Spacey as John Doe with its own screen. It really emphasised how his name wasnt shown at the start and heis presence in the film was a surprise til the reveal(all going well).

Was it not Sypathy For The Devil that played?

I quite like the credits on films like Hot Shots and The Naked Gun where they have the normal credits and then bang in a load of funny names and quotes into it.

also the end of "theres something about mary" and the big sing-along at the end. love that song, and was the first time i ever heard it, now a personal favourite.

(and check out the new farrelly bros movie trailer for "the heartbreak kid" with ben stiller which was put online today - looks good)

Inland Empire's end-credits are great. An impromptu musical sequence set to Nina Simone's 'Sinnerman'.

Pretty sure it was Paint it Black but I can't be sure. It was a long time ago.
The only film I can think of with Sympathy at the start of the end credits is Interview with a Vampire, which I guess we could throw in there. It's not a great film but again, a great ending. Too bad they used the Sympathy cover done by Guns N' Roses though. The original can't be touched.

the stones seem to be a popular choice for end-credit music - paint it black on both devils advocate and full metal jacket, symphaty at the end of vampire and i am sure wild horses was on another.

    any others ??

The end of "The Family Friend", mainly for the Notwist music.

End credits to Silent Hill where done great, similar to the end-credits in Silent Hill 2.

Also the end credits to any Jackie Chan flick that show all the outtakes.

i had a feelin se7en would be popular. even the credits roll the wrong way in that film!

i always like to read the end credits on any kevin smith film, they're pretty funny.

Will Ferrell out takes or Pixar out takes are usually good.

The Naked Gun gets my vote, with the supporting cast being credited by the line they spoke in the film: "Hey, look out" - some woman; "Hey, it's Enrico Pallazzo!" - somone else. Quality.

    definetely one of the best.

Theres also a bill murray movie, either ghostbusters2 or scrooged where he tries to get the cinema audience to join in a sing song...."now all the women.....no I mean the real women"
