I would like to create a video conferencing link between a couple of sites both in ireland and the UK. I have zero experience in doing this. Has anyone any ideas how to go about this? Ideas and suggestions greatly appreciated!

Is it expensive? Is a subcription service the only option? Could I also look at installing my own hardware? I'm planning on a secure Broadband network between all sites, would that change the choice I make??

Our company is considering a web conference / meeting / briefing solution. The company is aware of WebEx, however the company intends to pursue cheaper solutions. We also consider open source. Any recommendation will be appreciated. Thank you!
