Just looking for some advice on bankroll management specifically with STTs.

I'm looking at stepping up to STTs in the range of 40 - 60 $ buy ins....
to do this what bankroll would you think i would need?....and at what point would i need to drop down a level if things didnt go well.

Any advice appreciated, especially from STT players who have a good bankroll plan in operation....as i havent really got a clue where to start!

Unless they are complete crap shoot turbos then 10 - 15 buy ins should be ok...

I would have at least 40 prob 50 buyins. Variance in STTs is much greater than cash, 10-15 is insanity!

If I was to start STTs, I would have a 50 buyin roll, and drop down when I have 30 for the inital level, move up when I have 50 for the next. Something like that.

    That is terrible advice.
    10-15 is not near enough.
Varience can be quite high. It depends on the levels you play. $5 games 30 ($150) is the lowest i'd play. and i wouldn't move to $10 until i had 40 for that level ($400)

I went 20 games without cashing 1st (6max turbos). So 40 should be fine.

I started with 10 Buy ins at $55 level, lost my first 8 games but have 85 buy ins now :D

    I have twice gone 8 games ($440 x 2) without a cash
    I have won 3 sit and go's in a row 3 times ($595 x 3)
    4 in a row once ($790).

    My ITM = 39%
ROI for full ring Sit and Go = 19%

Imo I believe there is considerably less variance in the full ring (9/10) sit and go's than the 6 seater games.

edit: I would advise 25-30 for players who tend not to tilt. Add 15-20 if you are tilty!

i predominantly only play heads up?what sort of bankroll would people recommend?obviousley variance is a lot less so the standard 30-50 buy ins is too much in my opinion what do yous think?
