Recommend some freeware mp3 editor?

    Can anyone recommend a freeware mp3 editor? Need to do some cutting and chopping but most of what I’ve tried so far is unnecessarily complicated or just plain crap 

    Audacity is pretty good. You can get it from downloads.com
