does anyone know whats happening to mansion after the end of june?

They are not offering rakeback to new customers after that time. One of the rb providers mentioned they are prob merging with ipoker.

That is what the girl from Mermaid Poker (Swedish Anna) posted in another thread, so a good chance that it is happening.

I don't know about the Merge, but it's nothing unusual for a site to announce that RB for new customers is coming to an end at a certain date. Lots of sites do this.

considering how good their software is in comparison to ipoker. I really cannot see them merging to ipoker unless they were bought out....playtech could be the next Bill Gates of the online poker industry :)

I would wait for an official line before jumping to any conclusions a quick use of de google would suggest there is no such merge taking place, however i did stumble across this not entirely relative post but none the less a very amusing read.
    Subject: doyles room ex employee

    (Link)
doyles room is a part of tribecca tables. a few months ago tribeca gave all the sites a 6 month deadline to find a new software as they will no longer support US customers (and selling out). So playtech aquired all the sites that still want to take USA customers. the switch from tribeca to playtech will be any day know but most will be unaware as the sites will just tell all the players they are doing another upgrade. from what I was told they will mimick tribecas graphics.
I worked at doyles for years, I got all the good info.....any other questions?

I heard the rumour of a move to ipoker a few weeks ago from a reputable source, thing is I can't remember which reputable source. Mansion has been a disgrace of a company to be honest, more money than they knew what to do with and employed some people who made very poor decisions. Just look at the size of their deal with Spurs.

If you folk had listened to me 6 months ago on Playtech when I told you to buy their shares you would have made about 60% on your investment at one point.

well this a bit all over the place. no word on the poker yet
MANSION ONLINE GAMBLING GROUP CHOOSES PLAYTECH PLATFORM

90 games to be delivered in new download gambling suite.

The rumours that the Mansion online gambling group was about to switch software platforms to Playtech were confirmed this week in press releases from both companies.

Under the terms of the license agreement, Playtech will provide Mansion with its download casino portfolio of over 90 games, and integrate its thoroughly proved back-end with Mansion’s system. The product will be tailored to meet the global demand for a range of local style games for players around the world. Playtech and Mansion are also discussing the possibility of extending the range of other products that Playtech can provide.

Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer of Playtech, commented: “We are delighted to have signed this new license agreement with Mansion and look forward to a productive working relationship. The agreement reflects our ability to provide high quality gaming products which are suited to the local gaming customs of players around the world. We are delighted that Playtech continues to attract well known names that are able to capitalise on our market leading position and utilise our advanced applications and platforms.”

Guy Gussarsky, Chief Executive Officer for Mansion Limited, said: “The addition of the new casino download complements our existing product and services. With a mandate to deliver a quality gaming experience for the online casino enthusiast the world over, our members have switched onto the absolute best of both worlds in casino gaming entertainment.

“The launch of the vastly enhanced solution is a direct response to our international player base and will address the cultural needs of our increasingly diverse regional markets.”

Mansion will combine its portfolio of instant play games with Playtech’s download gambling suite, with both companies planning to collaborate further in the future.

Here is an update from my rakeback crew on 2nd July:

Mansion Poker has changed the way rakeback works, We will no longer be paying you here at rakeupdate.com. They have taken this ability away from every affiliate. You WILL keep getting rakeback, however, Mansion poker will be paying everyone themselves, once a month, usually around the 10th the following month.

As far as your referrals and getting rakeback off them, we are waiting to see what the stats look like, if we still can do this, which we think we can. We will update the stats as normal so that you get your affiliate credit.

No new players can join Mansion Poker for rakeback.

Everyone will get 36% from Mansion Poker paid out once per month, around the 10th of the NEXT month.

Anyone got a date for this move to iPoker 'cos as soon as I do I'm there? Savage value keeping my 36% on that network.

EDIT: Just spoke to someone in the know and the move to iPoker hasn't actually been agreed yet. They are currently switching over the casino but nothing happening with the poker side as of yet.
