As of Monday 4th June, the time you have to make your decision during each round of betting will go from 20 secs to 28 secs at regular tables, and from 10 secs to 15 secs at Turbo tables. So, more time to make those big decisions

I'd prefer if they kept the 20secs but had some sort of timebank thing in operation.

. for me too. multitabling on ipoker is sometimes almost the same as a workout in a gym.

oh great, now I have another 8 seconds to wait for the fishmuppets to min-raise my C-bets

    brilliant news altogether

I am coming round to liking iPoker, certainly on things like that timer they listened to the players. You could have screamed "freezeouts" at Tribeca until you were blue in the face. iPoker seem more responsive to requested change, which is always a plus.
Now, if only they could get the Omaha tables fixed ...

    DeV.

Firstly, I think faster than the people I play with, much faster. Secondly the less time people have the less likely they are to call bluffs, I love making big bets on the turbo tables, you can see people thinking about it and then timing out having not really decided to fold. Thirdly it helps multitabling TAGS who are playing ABC poker.

i dont see why they change the speed on the turbo tables.

Actually as usual you have some good points, I also usually know my play almost instantly and I think giving my opponents less time is certainly to my advantage, be it for a bluff or a Value bet, my problem is usually getting to all the tables. If I'm involved in 3 hands at the same time it can be tricky to get around my screen in time for them all.

I only play 4 tables but it can be hard to get to each table in time, although I must admit I've got used to it by now, but when beginning playing on iPoker it was a nightmare and I actually found playing more than 3 tables difficult and 4 saw a significant reduction in my win-rate.

How many tables do you play??

I play on turbo tables and it is definitely good news for me as I have lost pots once or twice due to 10 seconds being about 5 seconds too short for a non-autocall of a push. Maybe it would have been better to have an excess timebank of 30 seconds per table that you can use up for the duration of your play there like Stars. Not happy about the extra 8 seconds for regular tables.

I'd also like to see resizable tables, the mini view is a bit small. And changing the mild irritant that when you top up the autopost button gets unclicked.

    I think it's good software.

The amount of hands played per table per hour will be reduced, therefore ye professionals and semi pros will most likely see your hourly rate go down as well (though partly balanced out by the extra correct decisions you will make in the extra 8 seconds).

I think it'd be better (and probably not too difficult to program) if you still only had the 20seconds pre-flop in unopened pots, and also only 20 seconds on later streets when no-one has yet bet. Therefore the extra time would only apply when the betting has been opened.

To me that's more than a mild irritant, I fcuking hate it, I always top up to the max even if just the blinds go through me and it really gets on my tits having to re-tick that box constantly.

I'd love them to fix this as it's just retarded, W(hy)TF would someone who tops up their stack not want to post their blinds, it's just stupid!!! Right end of rant, but it really really bugs me!!

True about the amount of hands played will decrease but for the likes of me i can add another table now, i only play 3 as anytime i had 4 tables open before i was timing out too much, now i can add the 4th table which should more than make up for the tables i was losing out on because of less hands played per hour under the new time limits.
