Hand from €20 fo in Jackpot.

Two tables left. I have 8,000 chips. Villain has about 15,000. Villain has been super aggro the whole night, frequently betting 500 into a pot of 200 or something.

I had AJo in SB. Blinds are 200/400. Folded to me. I make a raise of 1,200. Villain in BB calls.

Flop is 84Q rainbow. I bet 1,500. Villain calls.

Turn is 9. Rainbow is complete. I think for a while and check. He bets 2,000.

Action?

I had a feeling he called with crap and hit a pair :-/

I can see no way that you are ahead in this spot, and you will need to jam sometihng to win. Even if your overcards and gutshot are live, you need to be getting 4/1 to have a good price, and that is if they are all outs. you are getting nowhere near that so you should really fold. If he has nothing then he has played it really weirdly.

the chances of a player floating in this game are pretty slim so you're almost certainly behind. I think you'd be better off waiting for a big hand against this player as from the description you should get a bit of money out of him and a crai on a semi-bluff, your only other option at this point, seems unecessary, especially if he'll call you lite

and I won a 6 way all in pot with 7h9h for 45K chips with the blinds at 100/200, w00t 10E rebuys.

the table starts with what? 40k altogether?
At the break there was 219k in play on our table from rebuys.

You were saying villain has been playing super aggro betting 500 into 200 pots but now he bets 2000 into 5400 pot. Is this a sign of strength or weakness from what you picked up during the night?

Even if he hit his crappy pair, he's still ahead. If you push for 5300 will he fold for an extra 3300, i wouldnt say so, so i reckon its a fold.

Generally if its folded to be in the SB and i've AJ, i'll raise either more than the standard 3xBB or else i wont raise at all
