    Hi,

not sure if this should be in here on the gaming board. But i have a question regarding the Airport Express. Can it be used as a wireless bridge for say an Xbox 360? I believe MS charge similar money for their proprietary unit and it seems like this would be a much better solution all round. Has anyone used one before and can it be used with the 360 through its ethernet port? Anyone have any issues with this product?

I have an Airport express and while I've never used it in this manner I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Any wireless router would do.

Just another question...can it be used to charge an Ipod?

also i've heard reports of them failing after 18 months or so. How long have you had yours~?

I just plugged my ipod into the airport express and yes it does indeed charge. However it also goes into disk mode which means you can't use it while charging as you can with the power adapter. The screen also stays on.

I've had my Airport Express for about 2 1/2 years and haven't had any problems.
