My existing boat uses a dual paddle type controller but a new boat I'm considering has a Pistol type ???? ...... an example is shown below .... I've never used such a controller .... what's the general opinion on these? .... are they as good...better...not so good as conventional controllers ....

    thanks in advance .....

It depends on personal preference really, and obviously what kind of model you want to use it with. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the most channels that a wheel controller can accommodate is three.

ye it depends on personal liking but when you buy models now online or local hobby shops they mainly come with the model, but thats only what I think because all the models I bought i had to change the controller to stick.:)
