Cable broadband, Tipperary Town

Does anyone know of any plans for the laying of cable in tipperary town, All our roads are being dug up at this moment and main st is completely sealed of, the odd thing is they are digging up near the center of some of the roads, and apparently had early signs up indicating it was for broadband, so thats the rumour going…
