In an effort to try and get through some of the back log I'm going to get another one of these going today. So according to this thread it's Bops up next.

    Same Rules:

There can be NO flaming, this isn't a chance for people to have a shot at who ever goes in. Entrants to the Deconstructing series will have their thick skins on but forum rule breaches will be dealt swiftly and harshly (1 week ban), so you have all been warned.

Just to spell it out: NO PERSONAL ATTACKS, criticise and critique his game and NOTHING else!

Keep it constructive and good luck Bops.

I'm tempted to lock it to hear you whinge about it :)

I'll start as someone who has never played with you but has read your posts.

I don't know if your posts are representative of your game in general, but it seems like you love to play junk in order to try and stack big hands. While this is in general a good idea, it seems that you play way too many hands OOP to make this profitable, and it seems like you like to peel off a turn card as well too often. I am sure this sees you make big profits, or quick losses, and you seem to make it work in some fashion, but I find it hard to believe this is profitable in general.

we played once @ a 1/2 table in the SE after some qualifier tourney - i was to you immediate right (my fav spot) - you left with 0 and i left with all your chips

    ....just for the record :D

    Hey bops,

Just to say keep on posting, your posts are interesting and funny. I don't know why you get so much abuse. I've been lurking here every day for nearly 3 years and only yourself and flipper seem to get the brunt of it. Ignore them ;)

P.S. Don't everyone start attacking me now :o

    heya bops-
Ive only have limited experience with playing with you live @3 hours in Waterford.
We were playing shorthanded pretty deepstacked.
I felt you maybe werent as aware of position as you should have been.
In some cases you created big pots oop with pretty marginal hands and you were raising out of the blinds way too much for my liking(edit maybe this can be ignored as my raising range from the blinds is literally two hands.)

I picked up a pretty solid read on you after a while which I told you about later which made what would have been tough calls a lot easier.
Its here that I think your strenght lies ie you didnt seem too be afraid to put someone under pressure with a decent bet regardless of your holding.I think your game has a lot of potential and overall I was impressed.

I enjoy reading your posts(although i think a lot of your stuff is pantomime and a ott) and share a lot of your old school sentiments!!but sssh dont tell anyone.

I have only ever played cash in the SE once, and that was after the €200 game months ago. I left the Holdem to go play Omaha, and Martin Rafferty was to my immediate right the whole time I was in the HE, so I think you have me confused with someone else.

Edit to say that I went broke in the HE once that session and rebought. I went broke to Murat, so unless you were deep undercover you are definitely wrong.

I disagree with 99% of the poker advice you give on this forum, the hands you post are answered by better players than me within a sentence or two, but you seem to entertain people so you must be doing something right.

Basically, you call to much, play to many bad hands and hope to get lucky and are generally a station:D

I guarantee if you play poker long enough you will eventually come round to general thought process on boards about starting hands and postion but untill then enjoy the variance

On a side note i enjoy your posts they are good fun and you obviously "enjoy" poker and a gamble more than most players on this forum
