not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes...

im looking to install 4 security cameras on a premises in limerick, two at the back of the house and 2 at the front so i can see whats going on from my house in cork,

of course not looking to spend too much and looking for as cheap a solution as possible..

anyone got any experience or advice for setting up something like this? anyone with some good websites for feasable cameras that could do the job?

i would assume i would need a telephone line for the premises in limerick for the pictures to be sent back to my pc in cork? would this be terrible then as it wudnt really be a live feed and i would just be getting still shots updated every 2 minutes?

this might be ok, but a live feed would be better pending how costly it would be

    any help appreciated!

for best quality you will need a broadband line on the site and either a PC with the right software/hardware to send the feed over the internet.. or a dedicated DVR box to do it.
