Blood Pressure.

What is normal blood pressure ?

I know that 120/80 seems to be regarded as a reference value and that BP varies throughout the course of a day.

What I am really wondering is what parameters above 120/80 still bring it within the concept of normal ?

For the "average person" blood pressure rises slowly with age so someone in their 50's who leads an "average" lifestyle will have naturally higher blood pressure than someone in their twenties leading the same lifestyle. Bear that in mind if you are concerned. Also, next time you visit a doctor have your BP taken and ask them if they think it's okay :)
