    Just saw this on the xbox site HD-Dvd vs DVD for games. Click on hd demo to see this. I thought they had no plans to make games on hd dvd?

    No, no, you can still have HD quality picture on a DVD disk! Its just for a 2 hour or so movie you'd need a lot of space thats why HD-DVD disks are used for films, but for games you don't need to use HD-DVD disks... well basically put anyway!

    Yes, HD and HD-DVD are not the same thing.

    Hmm ok I get ya but if you look in the video on the left side it has the dvd logo and on the right the hddvd logo? Its comparing how hddvd is better quality than dvd for games

    Ya I don't know why they did that.

    It should be a movie like the matrix or something than gears of war or else just say HD v SD instead of DVD v HD-DVD

    Good so it wasn't just me. That video doesn't make any sense then.. you think they'd get it right when they're trying to advertise it as a selling point
