Don't worry, Asylums effort will be out a few days/weeks before hand to cash in as much as possible - a tactic that's obviously working as they're churning out more and more movies these days at a frightening rate.

I actually like some of their movies....cheap, but some good make up effects combined with visual effects from the 80's make for some great b-movies.

King Kong? King of Lost Island
The Hills have Eyes? The Hillside Cannibals
    The Hitcher? The Hitchhiker.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose? Exorcism: The Possession of Gail Bowers
Land of the Dead? The Night of the Dead
Pirates of the Caribbean? Pirates of Lost Island
    The Omen? 666: The Child
Snakes on a plane? Snakes on a Train ( I actually bothered to review this one here)
When A Stranger Calls? When a Killer calls.
The War of the Worlds?...em...HG Wells The War of the Worlds

They're actually not all bad....some of them are actually rather good, especially the splatter flick rip-offs which are usually extremely violent, the zombie ones in particular.

And without further ado...you have to admit this is a cool poster.

    Those men are getting burned.

Interesting idea, i'd be comparing them to their counterparts throughout and probably hating them though.

Apparently it was an old project that was on layaway for ages called Robot War! but with the hype around Transformers they felt a name change was due. Oh and they don't transform before anyone asks.

PS: in before someone claims that these robots (somehow) look like Michael Bay's Transformers! :D

I watched some of it last night and have to admit that it's rather enjoyable in the way all their films are. I'm pretty sure Transformers will be far superior but in the mean time it's a nice distraction.

    They transmorph instead?

They do transform, kinda. But the special effects are so bad they really shouldn't have bothered.

Terrible film even by Asylum standards.
