    seen an ad in the city ads paper for this tv box, loads of channels and film 4 as well for a one off price of like e140...


    has anyone every heard of this or know anything about it

    Why, if their all FTA channels like Film4 surely there would be no problem.

    Most people would call the ~30 decent channels on fta loads..for anyone living in rte only land....

    By FTA i taking ti you mean free to air?

    Is it like the free view boxes you get in tht north? If so surely that would be good enought as jheagartty said for someone like me livining in tre land it would be fine...


    can you buy them in dixons and the likes as well?

    Freeview boxes are terrestrial no satellite

    There are also illegal cable boxes doing the rounds. They need cable and a fast getaway car as the fine is substantial.

    Only really consider Terrestiral Freeview if you already get BBC, ITV, C4, Five from an aerial from UK (not a deflector).
