3.5" Floppy Drive (Sony)

I just noticed on a new 3.5" Floppy Drive I got today that the connection on the back for the data cable has a slot either side. The round floppy drive cable has a lug on one side only which will allow you to connect it to the drive anyway you want (Not fool proof like the old ones) You can plug it in either way :confused:…
