    Da mortgage broker is trying to get business sorted too quick even tho we can't get the ex to put on papera price that will suit all...ex wants too much...wouldn't get it if selling....

    Reading between the txtspk, are you buying out an ex-partners share of a residence?

    Can you not get an independent valuation done?

    Both sides had one done and the exs is lower but the thing is there is no way the house would sell for that...how to make ex see sense???

    Sell the house. Or at least put it on the market.

    Make sure you both have separate legal advice.
