Smallest I found at a quick glance is this 120GB, no external power adaptor required.

You'd almost be better off to buy a high capacity drive, transfer all the needed files and either a) hang on to it or b) sell it on for a small loss.

I would prefer to buy the WD.
A lot more reliable. I have a 250 gig and cant say a bad thing about it.
Spend a few quid more you will be better off!

As has already been said ... The passports are very nice ... you can get them in 60gb / 80gb / 120gb and 160gb ... thought I've heard of some problems with powering the 160gbs on the macs ...

    I've the 120gb model .. and can't say a bad thing about it ...

depending on your needs maybe a 250gb external (WD) ... powered drive could be good as well ... its always handy for making a backup .. what I don't like about it is its need for a power supply .. but if its just sitting beside your main desktop its very handy :)

best one i can recomment is, 120gig usb powerd 2.5" hdd, i have two for laptops very happy with them, no need to look for power plugs, :) seagate is my favorit always,
komplett.ie has very good reasonable price, to everyone, i dont recomment getting hdd from ebay, it will travel very long way, as it is very essential can be damaged very easy, better to get them from close place,

alternatively if you're looking for cheap and cheerful ...

Try getting a HD drive enclosure ... from ebay ... can pick them up for about 6 quid I think ... ended up getting two before ... as it worked out that bit cheaping splitting postage on the two of them ... (May not be the greatest quality ... I know the one I have seems to want to draw a lot of power from the USB on my laptop)

Then just bung your HD into it ... or get your hands on an old laptop hand drive ... I salvaged the GF's old laptop harddrive that was 12gbs ... very handy .. very cheap ...
