Ok had a phone interview this morning and think i might have messed up.

All going well etc but then he asked me 3 different questions about problems they currently are having and how i'd go about a solution for them.

I think i answered the first 2 OK-ish. But the third one, i kinda panicked and most definately didn't give a good solution to it.

Just wondering, i never had an interview where they asked me stuff like that before i.e. how to solve problem X.

    have i messed up ?

Well if you are interviewing for a position where you'll be expected to give solutioins off the top of your head over the phone in high-pressure situations then yes.
    Otherwise maybe not.
