Travel Insurance - Personal Property

I'm searching for somewhere that will offer good comprehensive cover for personal property - I've checked justcover.ie and aib.ie and for personal property the cover is pretty meager imo... (e.g. cover up to €2175 with no single item payout greater than €220). The maximum payout per item of €220 would nowhere near cover a camera lense valued at €500.

So I guess my question is what companies are out there that offer higher total and individual item cover?

I guess this post could have gone into a few different fora - so mods feel free to move it if you believe it could get better responses elsewhere...

I came across this recently. Not sure if it will suit your needs but it's worth a look.
I've also used GetCover and 123

Thanks for the reply - yes the Platinum cover from Insurance Bookers looks more along the lines of what I'm after... must also check my household insurance to see what the cover is like from that...

For camera equipment of that value I would suggest you add it on to your Home Insurance policy as All Risks.

I put my digital camera on my home insurance worth €450.00 for no additional cost. If it gets lost stolen accidental damage outside the home its covered.
