I love LOST but i came across a funny comment in the thread at Aint It Cool News (not a Whine About Lost thread this guy is a fan weirdly enough!)

One of the 10 greatest TV shows ever? That's quite a claim. Quite a ridiculous claim. I could pull 10 better shows out of my arse by stuffing the tv pages up it. What a lot of ****e that finale was. So Penny's just been sitting in front of her computer waiting for the signal to stop being jammed, and immediately manages to home in on Desmonds exact location to the square metre? That one-eyed Russian dick is invincible, is he? Yet again returning to life (so ****ing obvious). Locke knows exactly where everyone is, manages to arrive just at the precise moment Naomi is about to speak on the phone, and throws a knife into her back, without anyone asking why, does he? No one hears a rusty old VW van approaching until it's actually running them over, do they? Charlie shuts himself INSIDE to be drowned, rather than shutting himself OUTSIDE with Desmond, does he? What does that achieve? Garbage. Utter garbage. 100 groats says I still tune in for the start of the next season anyway. What a dick.

The man's got a point though. Like, I know that some of it has to be done for dramatic effect, but the Penny thing and Mikhael thing pissed me off a bit too.

I have a feeling Mikhael constantly returning back to life has a reason to it other then for dramatic effect.

Or, he could have hovered at the water's surface in the room, then as the room fills up, take a big gulp of air and squeeze out through the now glass-free porthole. It looked big enough for his scrawny body!

Door couldn't be shut and bolted from the outside,water would have forced it open. duh,idiot.

Well , the Mickail thing fair enough that is annoying.. penny thing is easy to explain , she has an alarm set to go off when it detects signal is no longer jammed.. it goes off , she rushes to a terminal ..

Huh? Don't see the difference between turning the wheel on the inside and the one on the outside, it's the same locking mechanism either way

This ... erm .. "review" is right on the money. The season finally was nonsense. I really think Lost, which used to pride itself on intelligence, has got very sloppy.

watch it again he doesn't turn the whell to lock it, he locks two clamped at the side of the door.. the wheel is probably broken or something

I think the original "reviewer" is forgetting that you have to sometimes suspend your belief when watching Lost.
It's not meant to be completely realistic.
