The 'writers' of lost have pulled off the biggest money making act in history they have held everyone on a hook for so long and are still doing so. I can see them now around the table saying what will we do today lads, Ehmm I don't know? how about some polar bears for the craic that'll really wreck their heads. How are the viewing figures and the advertising going...Oh thats just great I can order that swimming pool in me back garden now.

Jeez lads this is working really well, is there any way we can keep it going untill anyone cops on? Ehmm... yep we can do this for as long as you like, tis like Dallas and all those other stories, soaps etc, once they keep coming we'll keep producing, once they get wise? Then we pull the plug with a crappy ending and the beauty is we piss off so many people we can then make loads more money sensationalising our part in all this.

We may even get a film out of it to pull the incredibly naive back in, there are a lot of them you know.

i think its the most involving thing on television, for once we actually have to think about things not just sit there braindead for an hour staring into space!

i wouldnt consider myself a huge lost fan to the extent of having to watch trailers read interviewsetc i just plop myself down on sunday (or monday if i miss it) and get my thinking hat on, i think you will be proved VERY wrong, but each to their own

It's not really a rant it is what I think that the show is about(I don't detest it, I actually appreciate it and find it funny and interesting).

Sticky it by all means (whatever that means). I would love to see the show have a massive life changing ending for all mankind, but I guess I am a cynic and do not really see lost as being up to this kind of task which it proposes to be. Other than that it will be just another tv show which people will laugh about in years to come, that is if it is not still running.

I do agree with you in ways that it is a nice money maker for them ..
BUT in fairness they are making 3 more seasons (effectively 2 , as its 3x 16 eps)

so we are past halfway and the show is still great, other shows such as The X files were ****e by S3 and that went on for 9 seasons!!
