    A friend recorded my wedding on his video camera. I have managed to copy it onto my Hard Disk recorder (Kiss)

    It is recorded as one big VOB file (3.8 GB) , which I have copied onto my PC.

    How do I make a DVD from this VOB file ? I've had quick look around and I think that I need to make an IFO file - but not sure how ?

    Does anyone have any ideas ?

    Thanks.

    Drag the VOB into a DVD authoring application (I use DVDstyler in Linux, a win32 build is also available), add a top menu, and hit Burn DVD.

    You'll have a few hundred megs of unused space left over so you have the option of adding a slideshow of photos or other short video clips to the menu if you like.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I tried DVDStyler but it stopped after about 80% saying the file was invalid. After a lot of googling I found the solution here:

    using IfoEdit
