    Hi all.

Just looking for some opinions on this hand please.

Playing a league final yesterday 5k in the prizepool 50+ runners. 1.5k for first

Were down to 3 tables 9 handed. I have just been moved off a tough table with a lot of big stacks. Couldnt find many good spots and stayed around the same in chips.

So on to a new table I decided im gonna open up a little.

Blinds 500/1000 and im sitting on 27,500k.

Folded to me in the cutoff and I have 10c 4c and I raise to 3 times the blind
to 3000 to hopefully steal the blinds.

The Button(40,000+) who i know to be an average player has a little think and calls. Then the small blind(30,000+) a good tricky player calls aswell.
So I dont figure either player for too strong a hand. A decent ace or 2 picture cards/small pp etc

Im not too happy with 2 callers and unless i hit strong i will be happily done with the hand.

Flop 10h 8c 6c.....!!!!! Seems like as good a flop as i could have hoped for

Small blind checks and i decide there is 10k in the middle and I just want to take it down right now and be done with it. So I shove all in for 24,500k?????

So i fully expect both players too fold. The button goes into the tank and i know immediately im in trouble.

He dwells then calls and flips over QhQc!! I couldnt beleive he was that strong would have expected a reraise preflop.

Anyway turn a 6s and river Qd to give him a full house and im out.
So i was annoyed with myself as it was the first time i got out of line all day and i had played solidly until then.

So when I got home i ran the hand on a odds calculator and I was 46% to win when the chips went in nearly a coinflip.

So im interested in hearing how people here would play this flop? (I know i should have folded preflop!!!)

This is the frist hand ive posted so all opinons welcome.

there is nothing wrong with the way you played the hand - maybe just bet 8/10k on the flop - the shove always stinks of a draw

no matter what the villain had - you were never going to be in really bad shape

you were just unlucky that he chose to slowplay his hand, that's all

I was on the table at the time and in fairness conor you nearly got him off them queens after the flop. Maybe a bet of about pot size after the flop and if he came over the top you cold have gotten away from the hand and still had 17K left to play with. Just unlucky to run into such a big hand. a club would have been nice though.

Same said villan knocked me out not long after. I have AA UTG flat call on his big blind folded around to him and he raises to 8K blinds 1500-3000. I ship 24K and again he thinks and eventually calls and shows 88. Flop 567 turn 4 and back to work for me.

He went on to finish 8th in the end tournie was won by Noel Preston 2nd Keith O Brien 3rd Ian Griffin.

    Hope you enjoyed the day.

    cheers lads for the replies.

It was the donk overbet of the pot that was annoying me the most. It really does look like a draw as all of you said. That said if i bet the pot and he reraised me I would have put the tank in as i did have a fairly strong hand top pair and a flush draw, it is the nuts down there tony as you well know!!!!

yeah i enjoyed myself i had a starting stack of 9750 and with the blinds still 25/50 on a 20 minute clock i had 26000 in chips!! I couldnt beleive it.
congrats to the lads who got top 3.

The push looks like a draw but at the same time you are pretty much a coin flip against an overpair. If you had bet the pot then folding to a push would have been terrible.
